Anemo Robotics underwater monitoring
Anemo Robotics builds long-term underwater camera systems and AI software for automated species detection and ecological data analysis. Within Ecowende (Hollandse Kust West VI), it monitors nature-inclusive design measures, in particular whether fish holes in monopile foundations serve as shelter for fish. Cameras are plugged into the wind farm's power and data supply for extended monitoring, and the footage is analysed by AI to detect species. Researchers use the results to assess whether the measures support marine biodiversity; the system does not affect turbine operation.
