by Baidu
Baidu Wenku (百度文库) is Baidu's consumer and prosumer content platform, launched in 2009 as a user-contributed document library and repositioned from May 2024 as a "one-stop AI content acquisition and creation platform" (一站式AI内容获取和创作平台) after being rebuilt on Baidu's ERNIE / Wenxin large models. The platform combines retrieval over a large corpus of user-uploaded professional documents with generative tooling: multi-document summarisation and Q&A, long-form research report generation, slide (PPT) generation, mind maps, posters, illustrated picture books, comics, podcasts, short video and code output, plus editing operations such as rewriting, expansion and tone adjustment. Since April 2025 the generative layer has been fronted by GenFlow, a multi-agent orchestration product developed jointly with Baidu Netdisk on Baidu's "Cangzhou OS" content operating system, which decomposes a user instruction into parallel agent tasks and retrieves from Baidu Wenku documents, Baidu Scholar publications and user-authorised Baidu Netdisk files. Delivery is cloud SaaS via web and iOS/Android apps, freemium with VIP subscription tiers, operated from mainland China with a predominantly Chinese-language interface.
