Loomi AI is Bloomreach's agentic platform behind its products: it unifies first-party customer data with business context (inventory, margins, pricing) and proprietary predictive models to choose the next best action per customer in real time across email, SMS/RCS/WhatsApp, push, web, ads and ecommerce search. It includes the Loomi Marketing Agent (turns a prompt into a built, run and optimized campaign workflow, described as autonomous), the Loomi Shopping Agent (on-site conversational assistant), and Loomi Connect (custom agents and workflows via an open MCP layer, with a ChatGPT beta that brings a merchant's catalog into ChatGPT). Vendor case studies describe profiling such as identifying discount-sensitive customers, suppressing 'chronic returners' and targeting high-value lookalikes. Rated medium: the data is ordinary customer behavioral data rather than special categories, and the vendor has a strong assurance posture (public trust center, SOC 2 Type II for Jan-Dec 2025, ISO 27001/27017/27018/9001/22301, a published DPA and sub-processor list). The open points are data governance: the sub-processor list names OpenAI, Anthropic and Google Ireland as default sub-processors for Content and Product development, plus Databricks for Product development, and the DPA lists 'improve Services' as a permitted purpose without saying whether customer data trains or tunes Loomi or provider models. The rating would rise if customer data is used for model training, or if the autonomous agents can send customer communications without human approval.
