Connected Papers generates an interactive visual graph of academic papers similar to a given input paper, using co-citation and bibliographic coupling analysis over the Semantic Scholar database. Users can explore paper relationships, discover an academic field's key literature, build additional graphs, and export reference/citation lists. The underlying similarity analysis is graph/statistical in nature rather than a generative or LLM-based AI feature.
