D2L Brightspace is a learning management system that universities, schools and companies use to run courses, quizzes, assignments and grading. D2L Lumi is the name for the AI features built into it. The vendor says Lumi generates quiz and practice questions and assignment ideas from course content, suggests outcome alignments for quiz questions, answers course and support questions in Lumi Chat, and gives students study support and feedback through Lumi Tutor. The vendor says Lumi Feedback generates draft scores and personalised feedback from instructor-defined rubrics, which the instructor can review and finalise before release, and that nothing Lumi drafts goes out until an educator reviews it.
