JAI is JAGGAER's AI procurement analyst and agent layer embedded across the JAGGAER One source-to-pay platform. It answers procurement policy and process questions grounded only in the customer's own policies, contracts and platform data (never the open internet), deflects repetitive help-desk tickets, routes requisitions to compliant purchase orders, enables self-service supplier onboarding, summarizes requisitions before approval, and runs a Deep Research mode that analyzes full spend/supplier/invoice portfolios from live data. Intended users include business requesters, procurement teams, suppliers, approvers, procurement ops/COE admins, finance and analysts, auditors, CPOs, AP managers, and IT/security teams. Evidenced use cases from the official JAI page: 75% ticket reduction in early access, 40+ workflows accelerated, 40M+ transactions processed annually, duplicate AP payment recovery ($100K recovered by a research university, work formerly outsourced to a recovery firm), supplier qualification research saving ~3 hrs/event, and surfacing single-source/supplier concentration risk.
