Nominal is an agentic AI platform that runs accounting and financial close workflows using deterministic AI agents. It automates the month-end/quarter-end close through agents for account and bank reconciliation, transaction matching across ledgers/entities/systems, flux/variance analysis, trigger monitoring of financial data in real time, intercompany workflows (balance/resolve/settlement), consolidation, reporting and journal entries. Intended users are accounting and finance teams at large, complex companies; it is ERP-agnostic and works with Workday, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle, Sage Intacct and SAP, plus any ERP/ledger/data source. Agents are built for accuracy, auditability and control with approval workflows, a full audit trail and feedback loops; nothing runs without human control.
