Eneco BuurtSturing home-battery steering (with Sessy)
by Eneco
Eneco steers Sessy home batteries for a few quarter-hours a day to help balance the grid during imbalance, a service Eneco calls BuurtSturing; on the battery it runs in a mode called Gridease. Participants get a variable payment for sharing battery data, keep control in the Sessy app and can switch mode with two button presses; participation is voluntary. Sessy and Eneco are also working on a solution in the Dordrecht region. Neither page describes the steering algorithm or calls it AI.
