Enexis Chat is Enexis' shielded internal generative-AI chat assistant, described by the company as its own alternative to ChatGPT. The 2024 annual report says Enexis 'developed our own version of ChatGPT' and set up a GenAI team and an AI Centre of Expertise; the 2025 annual report says around 3,500 colleagues use Enexis Chat each month and about 1,700 have been trained to work with AI. IT partner Team Rockstars IT describes building, for Enexis, a platform that makes large language models available across the organisation in a uniform and secure way, including a secure internal chat. Employees use it for office work; outputs are advisory and staff remain responsible for what they do with them. Enexis reports that all 33 AI systems it operates have had a risk assessment under the EU AI Act. The underlying LLMs and cloud are not named in the sources read.
