Enexis excavation-damage risk assessment
by Enexis
Enexis lists among its AI applications an assessment of the risk that third-party excavation work damages its cables and pipelines, used to prevent such damage. The 2025 annual report says about 350,000 of these assessments are made per year. The assessment helps Enexis decide where to warn excavators, supervise work or take other preventive action; the report does not describe the model, the data used (such as dig notifications) or a vendor. Enexis says all 33 AI systems it operates have been risk-assessed under the EU AI Act.
