Browser Use (cloud agents and browsers)
by Browser Use
Browser Use's cloud offers (1) Browser Use Agents, which complete a web task from a natural-language goal, and (2) Browser Infrastructure, managed remote browsers (stealth/anti-detect, residential proxies, CAPTCHA solving) for customers' own agents via SDK, REST or CDP. Advertised use cases include login automation, form filling, shopping and checkout, travel booking and data extraction. Per the vendor's docs, profiles can retain cookies and browser state, a local login can be synced to the cloud, and 2FA can be handled in runs, so authenticated session data may sit with the vendor. Rated high because an autonomous agent acting inside logged-in sessions can take consequential actions, and because the data-use terms are unresolved: the Privacy Policy says Inputs are used to train models and may go to third-party LLM providers, the Terms grant a perpetual licence to User Content, while the DPA says the vendor acts as a processor and will not use customer personal data beyond the service. The DPA also excludes sensitive data (health, SSNs, biometric, financial and card data) from what it covers. The vendor claims SOC 2 Type II (Accorp Partners, period ended Oct 2025; report not reviewed). The sub-processor list, including which LLM providers are used, could not be read. A third-party code-documentation site (DeepWiki) describes vendor-hosted models tuned for browser automation and a gateway that routes third-party models; this was not verified against primary documentation. This entry covers the paid cloud service; the MIT-licensed open-source library can be self-hosted and has a different data-flow profile. The vendor is an early-stage company founded in 2024.
