The vendor says ChatGPT Edu data and conversations are not used to train OpenAI's models by default, that retention windows can be set per workspace, and that eligible new Edu workspaces can store content at rest in Europe (EEA and Switzerland) and keep model inference on GPUs in Europe. OpenAI names GPT-6 as the flagship model available in ChatGPT Edu.
