Digizorg Assistent
by Digizorg
The Digizorg Assistent is the AI scribe module of the Digizorg Cockpit, a clinician workspace linked to the Digizorg patient app. Digizorg describes itself as a not-for-profit initiative owned by Dutch care providers. Specialists and other clinicians use the Assistent mainly in outpatient consultations, and a companion phone app can also record conversations. Digizorg says audio is converted to text and a large language model then writes a summary; clinicians can write their own prompts, and a patient-friendly version can be sent through the Digizorg app. The developers say a clinician always checks and corrects the summary before it goes into the record, and a doctor must approve each patient summary before it is sent. Digizorg says audio is encrypted on the phone and deleted once transcribed (or within 24 hours if transcription fails), raw transcripts are kept up to 30 days, data is stored on secure servers in the Netherlands, and it is not used to train the LLM.
