ENGIE Nederland AI conversation summaries
ENGIE Nederland's privacy statement (version 16 June 2025) says it uses AI to make summaries of chats, app conversations and phone calls with customers, and more broadly to develop and improve its processes and services. ENGIE states that it carries out a DPIA beforehand where needed, minimises the personal and sensitive data the AI processes, works in line with the GDPR, the Dutch GDPR implementation act and the AI Act, and builds in checks to prevent unwanted outcomes such as discrimination and bias. Phone calls can also be recorded for quality and training, with prior notice. The statement does not name the tool, model or hosting, or say how advisors check the summaries.
