Falcker tank inspection platform
by Falcker
Falcker (Delft, founded in the Rotterdam port) offers a tank inspection and maintenance platform with Site Explorer, Condition Monitoring and Life Cycle Planner modules, fed by drone and drone-in-box imagery. Cameras take 360-degree photos on which material degradation, gas emissions, insulation temperature and deformation are recognised, and Falcker markets 'production-ready' AI detection models for fire or smoke, water accumulation and loss of containment that send real-time alerts to the terminal's response team. Royal Vopak (Rotterdam) co-developed the platform and in October 2025 signed an agreement to deploy it at its terminals worldwide over the next years, using it for long-term tank-maintenance predictions and fit-for-service analyses. Falcker lists BP Rotterdam refinery, VTTI and SABIC Geleen as reference customers. Inspectors and integrity engineers review detections and plan maintenance; the platform itself was built on OutSystems by Symbioo.
