Gridscale X LV Insights
Siemens grid software that builds a digital twin of the low-voltage grid as a single source of information for planning and flexibility management, positioned as a step towards autonomous grid management. Alliander announced a technology partnership with Siemens in autumn 2024 under which Liander will use Gridscale X LV Insights, aiming to raise grid utilisation by up to 30%. The announcement does not describe AI or machine-learning functions or the deployment status. Siemens describes Gridscale X as automating detection, assessment and action on grid conditions.
