Hadrian continuous threat exposure management
by Hadrian
Hadrian, an Amsterdam security start-up, sells a cloud platform that continuously discovers an organisation's internet-facing systems, tests them for exploitable weaknesses the way an attacker would, and ranks the findings by likelihood of exploitation and impact. SHV Energy's Group Information Security team at its Hoofddorp head office runs it across the group's businesses worldwide: SHV Energy's Sustainability Report 2023 says 'we implemented an AI machine learning system that continuously monitors our global external attack surface for new risks', and SHV's April 2024 story describes 'an innovative Dutch start-up' whose AI-powered system does this. SHV's own texts do not name the vendor; Hadrian's case study names SHV Energy and quotes its Group Information Security & Risk Officer. The tool covers SHV's IT systems, not energy operations.
