AI Application
Low Confidence

Inquira is a set of AI agents for patient and client logistics at Dutch care providers, mainly mental health services, hospitals, independent treatment centres and elderly care, used by secretariats and planning teams. The vendor says its Reception Agent answers calls and messages by phone, chat, SMS and email from the organisation's own knowledge base and reschedules appointments; its Registration Agent collects details, consent and questionnaires through one secure link and calls when nothing comes back; and its Planning Agent schedules by the organisation's rules and offers freed slots to people on the waiting list. The vendor says the agent introduces itself as a digital employee, gives no clinical advice (enforced technically, not only by instructions) and passes calls with a clinical, urgent or unclear signal to staff with a summary. Staff can read back each conversation as a transcript and summary and set per step whether the team or the agent acts. Inquira says EU customers' data is processed in the EU, mainly on Hetzner in Germany, and audio is not kept.

Inquira's EU AI Act page says customers should avoid purely clinical decisions with the system, keep human oversight for medical advice and run a risk assessment if they use it for clinical purposes, and that clinical use 'may be high-risk' (https://www.inquira.health/nl/trust-center/eu-ai-act, read 2026-10-20). Its trust centre says clinical advice is blocked technically and judgement stays with the care professional (https://www.inquira.health/nl/trust-center, read 2026-10-20). The crisis-escalation agent alerts the agreed on-duty route with a 15-second target, which the vendor presents as a goal, not a guarantee (https://www.inquira.health/nl/agent-library/crisisEscalation, read 2026-10-20). Its terms say the information does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment (https://www.inquira.health/nl/legal/terms, read 2026-10-20).
