Samotics SAM4
by Samotics
Samotics SAM4 is an industrial AI condition-monitoring platform that uses Electrical Signature Analysis (ESA) to monitor motor-driven equipment from the electrical cabinet, without mounting sensors on the machine itself. It continuously measures three-phase current and voltage at the motor control cabinet and uses analytics to detect developing electrical, mechanical and load-side faults (e.g. bearing damage, pump failure, rising-main bursts), plus track load, efficiency and performance drift. Intended users are maintenance & reliability teams, plant managers, and operations staff in water & wastewater, oil & gas, metals & mining, chemicals, pulp & paper, airports, and data centers. Evidenced use cases: monitoring hard-to-reach assets (submerged pumps, enclosed drives, hazardous-zone motors, rooftop fans), early fault detection before failure, energy/operational intelligence, and routing diagnosis with recommended action into CMMS work order flows.
