Transpara
Transpara is software for 2D mammograms and 3D digital breast tomosynthesis, used by breast radiologists in screening and diagnostic breast imaging. The vendor says the AI marks suspicious regions with a region risk score on a 98-point scale and puts each exam in an Elevated, Intermediate or Low risk category; Low risk exams are left unmarked. Further modules assess breast density and compare findings with up to three prior mammograms. The vendor says Transpara can be used as decision support while reading, as an independent second reader, or to organise the workflow, and that where double reading is practised users may use it as a partial replacement of the second reader or as a third reader. In each set-up the vendor describes, a radiologist still reads the exam. The vendor names PACS and AI-platform partners, but its website says nothing about where images are processed or hosted.
