Deep Resolve
Deep Resolve is Siemens Healthineers' family of deep-learning image reconstruction options for its MAGNETOM MRI scanners, used by MRI radiographers and radiologists to shorten scans. Siemens says Deep Resolve Boost 'uses raw-data-to-image deep learning reconstruction technology' to reduce noise so that scans can be acquired faster, with three selectable denoising levels, and that Deep Resolve Sharp 'employs a deep neural network' to generate a higher-resolution image from lower-resolution data. Siemens claims up to 73% faster scanning when Boost is combined with parallel imaging and Simultaneous Multi-Slice. It is a software option of the scanner rather than a separate product, and availability depends on the scanner model and software version (for example syngo MR XA50A for Boost on MAGNETOM Lumina and Vida). The AI changes how images are reconstructed; it does not look for findings, and the radiologist reads the images as usual. Siemens does not say what data the networks were trained on and names no cloud processing for them.
