Tell James
by Tell James
Tell James is a Dutch speech-recognition and reporting tool for care workers in nursing homes and home care, disability care, mental health care and supported housing, youth care and forensic care, who dictate care notes into the electronic client record instead of typing them. The vendor says it uses speech-recognition models it has trained itself for more than ten years, with a care dictionary of medical terms, medication names and DSM-5 terms, plus an AI post-processing model that turns spoken language into written text, adds paragraphs and lists of agreements and measurements, and restructures a note into SOEP format on command. The vendor does not describe a separate review or approval step; the text lands in the record the care worker is writing in, and one customer article describes the client hearing the dictated note during the visit. The vendor says neither model is trained on dictated reports, audio and returned text are processed in memory and not stored, and it does not use cloud storage; it does not say where processing runs.
