Us2.ai is software that analyses echocardiograms, used in cardiology departments and echo labs by sonographers and cardiologists. The vendor says the AI takes a standard 2D echo study from any ultrasound vendor and, in under two minutes, produces chamber, valve and strain measurements, flags for conditions such as heart failure, aortic stenosis and pulmonary hypertension, and a structured report returned to the PACS or reporting system as DICOM-SR, HL7 or PDF; it says cleared indications differ by market. The vendor says the software does not exempt the user from the responsibility to supervise, clinically review the patient and make the clinical decisions, so a sonographer or cardiologist reviews the output before it is used. It is offered as a managed cloud service, with EU and UK hosting regions available, or installed on hospital hardware, where data stay within the facility. The vendor does not name its cloud provider.
