Zivver
by Zivver
Zivver is a secure email and file-transfer service that Dutch hospitals and mental health, disability and forensic care providers use to send patient information by email from Outlook, Gmail or a mail gateway. Its AI is limited to security functions. While staff write an email, the vendor says machine learning classifies how sensitive the content is and advises encrypting it, and ML-backed business rules warn about likely recipient errors: a mistyped address, an unusual combination of recipients, many addresses in To or CC instead of BCC, or a private address. The optional Email Threat Protection module uses what the vendor calls explainable AI, with Sublime's technology as its engine, to flag, block or quarantine phishing, malware and business email compromise. The sender decides whether to follow a warning; organisations can also have predefined sensitive data encrypted automatically. The vendor says messages are stored on AWS in the EU (eu-west-1) and do not leave the EEA, UK or Switzerland; limited data scanned by Email Threat Protection may be processed outside the EEA.
