IFS Ultimo is enterprise asset management (EAM) software that maintenance, medical technology, facilities and IT departments, including in hospitals, use to register assets and installations, plan maintenance and handle work orders, inspections and safety incidents. The vendor says its embedded AI, offered to new customers since January 2025 and now to all, suggests symptoms when staff report a fault, describes uploaded photos, finds similar past failures by vector search, proposes completed activities when a job is closed, turns plain instructions into inspection lines, drafts work instructions with likely root causes, reads analogue meters from photos and proposes follow-up actions after root-cause analyses and HSE incidents. Its 'digital workers' prepare work orders for approval and can flag and log reportable HSE incidents automatically. The vendor says technicians confirm or edit suggestions and customers set what each digital worker may read, act on and must get approved. It runs as SaaS on Microsoft Azure in the region the customer picks.
