MAGENTIQ-COLO is software for colonoscopy that analyses the endoscope video in real time, used by gastroenterologists and endoscopists. A computing unit, mounted on the existing equipment or on a cart with its own touch screen, takes the digital video output of the endoscopy tower; the vendor names compatibility with Olympus, Fujinon, Pentax and SonoScape systems. The vendor says its AI draws a box around suspected polyps on the screen and shows each polyp's size category and type without user action, records the procedure and produces an exportable report with duration and findings; quality metrics and upper-GI functions are announced but not yet released. The endoscopist decides what to examine and remove; a user quoted by the vendor calls it a real-time adjunct during colonoscopy. The website does not say whether any data leave the hospital, beyond mentioning automatic software updates. EUDAMED registers the device, as ME-APDS / MAGENTIQ-COLO, under the MDR.
