RBfracture is software for trauma X-rays, used in emergency and radiology departments for adult and paediatric patients. The vendor describes it as a computer-assisted detection and diagnosis device that helps healthcare professionals review trauma skeletal radiographs: the AI marks suspected fractures in the limbs, hip and pelvis, shoulder, ribs and thoracic and lumbar spine, joint effusions in elbows and knees, lipohaemarthrosis in knees and dislocations, and sends a summary report with thumbnails and a configurable worklist flag to the PACS. The vendor says it is not intended to replace clinical judgement or to be the sole basis for diagnosis or treatment decisions, so a clinician reviews the images and decides. The vendor offers three installations: its own cloud, to which a hospital gateway sends pseudonymised images over an encrypted connection; partner AI platforms; or a local installation that runs on a CPU inside the hospital.
