Seamly is a Dutch voice platform that puts an organisation's existing chatbot or AI agent on the telephone line. Healthcare organisations use it for call routing and appointment handling, and Dutch IT integrators such as ilionx build hospital voicebots on it. The vendor says Seamly handles the telephony, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, transcripts and call summaries, and real-time translation with DeepL, while the connected chatbot platform or language model works out what the caller wants. For healthcare it lists routing patients to the right department or specialist by their reason for calling, managing and preparing appointments, and updates on referrals or requests. The vendor says a call can be transferred to a staff member or switched to chat; in the hospital deployment described by ilionx, a staff member takes over at once when the bot cannot route the caller. Seamly says all data is hosted in the EU and that it stores no conversation content, only context and metadata.
