Software layer on top of an existing building management system that controls HVAC 24/7 using predictive algorithms trained on historical and real-time sensor data plus local weather forecasts. Greenchoice asked Spectral to deploy it in its own Rotterdam headquarters in 2022; Spectral connected the BMS, added sensors and trained its algorithms on the building's history. Spectral reports 21.3% lower heat consumption and 868.5 GJ saved for the HQ. Building managers keep the existing BMS; BRIGHTER sends setpoints to it.
