The Therapieland Assistent is a chat tool inside Therapieland, a Dutch e-health platform for mental health care, used by practitioners to choose from more than 350 online programmes for a client. The vendor says the practitioner describes the client's help request in conversation, the Assistent shows relevant programmes and their content and asks follow-up questions to find the best fit or starting point, and it answers only questions about Therapieland's programmes. It is built on Google Gemini, which Therapieland gave knowledge of its programmes and instructions on behaviour, and Therapieland says it analyses the conversations to monitor and improve the tool. The practitioner makes the final choice of programme; the vendor says AI does not replace the professional. Messages may describe a client's situation, but practitioners must not enter directly identifying data such as names or BSN. Therapieland says the Assistent was developed in its own secured environment; it does not say where Gemini processing takes place.
