Immensa360 is Immensa's spare-parts platform that combines AI-powered inventory assessment, digital inventory management and on-demand additive manufacturing. The AI assessment evaluates spare-parts portfolios to pick the best candidates for digitisation as 3D-printable parts. Shell and Immensa recently started a partnership at the Energy Transition Campus Amsterdam (ETCA), where they share Shell's industrial 3D printers (Shell keeps 40% of capacity) and build a 'digital warehouse' of printable parts for ageing plants such as Shell Pernis, Shell Chemicals Park Moerdijk and Rheinland. Shell says AI is used to analyse which parts are most worth adding to that database first. Shell's 3D-printing team scans parts and engineers validate the digital design before parts are printed.
