Tibo Energy (Eindhoven) sells an energy management system for business sites that coordinates solar panels, batteries, heat pumps and EV chargers within a grid-connection limit; the vendor describes its engine as AI that optimises within the grid limit. Grid operator Enexis uses it at its own new distribution centre and repair workshop in Best, which has a 1,750 kVA connection but only 74 kW contracted capacity and could not get more because of congestion. Installer Eigenenergie.net first simulated scenarios with Tibo's software; the live EMS now steers PV and two batteries, automatically shaves peaks and keeps the site within its contracted capacity, looking days ahead with forecasts based on weather data, consumption profiles and energy prices. Enexis facility staff follow current and expected states in a portal. The case was published in October 2025.
