Iris.ai RSpace is a web-based AI research platform from Iris.ai, a Norwegian company, for searching, filtering, analysing, extracting data from, summarising and chatting with large sets of research papers, patents and internal R&D documents. R&D teams in manufacturing, life sciences, energy and telecom, as well as academic researchers, use it to explore literature and monitor new publications. The vendor says it builds a weighted word 'fingerprint' of a text or problem statement and matches similar documents with its own similarity metric, that AI tools extract data into a common structure and write single- and multi-document summaries, and that an AI chat answers questions with references to the underlying documents. The vendor says users control which content is used, and that customers' content and inputs are used only for their own process.
