Jedlix smart charging
by Jedlix
Smart and bidirectional EV-charging platform that reschedules charging of connected cars through car and charger APIs and pools them into a virtual power plant for balancing markets. Jedlix's tech blog describes production machine-learning models: gradient-boosting forecasts of the aggregated flexibility of each fleet (who will be plugged in, and how much can be shifted) and a probabilistic real-time charge-power estimation model served on NVIDIA Triton, with ML observability added in 2023. Drivers set departure time and target charge; the schedule must respect those settings. Electrive (October 2024) lists Eneco, Vattenfall and 'Next Energy' among the energy companies with Jedlix API integration agreements; Jedlix began as an Eneco start-up. Kraken (Octopus Energy group) acquired Jedlix in October 2024.
