Kepler Night Nurse
Kepler Night Nurse is fall-detection software for nursing homes, mental-health wards and hospitals, used by care staff who receive its alerts through the nurse-call system on their phones. The vendor says computer-vision AI analyses the live image of a ceiling-mounted optical sensor and recognises posture and movement: a fall or a person on the floor, sitting on the edge of the bed, getting out of bed or a chair, lying position in bed, entering or leaving the room, and staying too long in the bathroom. Video is not recorded and faces are blurred, per the vendor. Per room, the care organisation chooses which alerts are active; carers decide how to respond. Kepler sells two editions: Night Nurse On Server, which runs on an Edge Appliance in the care organisation's network (up to 50 sensors each), and Night Nurse On Camera, sold with MOBOTIX c71 cameras as Kepler NurseAssist, where the analysis runs on the camera itself. The vendor says it is integrated with dozens of nurse-call systems.
