Microsoft Copilot Studio
Microsoft Copilot Studio is Microsoft's low-code studio in which organisations build their own AI agents and workflows and publish them to Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 Copilot and websites. Care organisations use it for staff-facing agents that answer from their own documents. The vendor says an agent follows the maker's instructions, draws on connected knowledge (SharePoint, uploaded files, Dataverse, websites searched through Bing) and can use tools to act; answers carry in-text citations, and the maker can block answers that use no knowledge source. Agents run on OpenAI GPT models by default; admins can allow Anthropic and other external models. Microsoft says Copilot Studio is not a medical device and must not replace professional medical judgment, and that each agent is the customer's own product and responsibility; workflows can include human review steps. For European environments Azure OpenAI runs inside the EU Data Boundary, while Bing search data is processed in the United States and some models are marked cross-geo.
