Heartbeat AI is 1KOMMA5°'s home energy management platform, which in the Netherlands automatically steers heat pumps on electricity price and household consumption. Since May 2025 1KOMMA5° Nederland offers control of hybrid and all-electric heat pumps of any brand, without replacing the existing unit. The platform decides when to run the heat pump from the household's consumption history, weather forecasts and current electricity prices. At launch the feature was only available to households that also have a home battery. Customers see the result in the 1KOMMA5° app; the article does not describe manual override settings.
