BlackBoiler is an AI contract review and redlining platform that turns an organization's playbook, prior redlines, approved language and examples into first-pass tracked changes in Microsoft Word. It builds playbook logic from the team's own standards, checks how each rule applies, and produces proposed edits as tracked changes/comments in Word that a lawyer reviews and decides to accept, change, reject, escalate or negotiate. Intended users are in-house legal teams, law firms and contract managers who repeatedly review the same agreement types (NDAs, service agreements, subcontract agreements). Includes Veris, a conversational Word-integrated assistant to build playbook guidance, refine clause language and ask questions against the agreement.
