Blicker's privacy statement says its AI components only support meter-reading and utility administration, make no Art. 22 GDPR decisions, and that all AI outputs used for billing or regulatory purposes remain subject to human oversight; customers get documentation of intended purpose and limitations under the EU AI Act. NMi testing found 99.79% validity for high-confidence readings, 98.96% for high+medium, and 97.83% overall across all confidence levels; low-confidence or poor-quality photos trigger a request to retake the photo.
