Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management is a cloud ERP application for manufacturing, inventory, warehousing, procurement and planning, with a Demand planning module. It is used by mid-size and large manufacturers and distributors. Microsoft says Demand planning uses an AI forecast model that selects algorithms and parameters per product and can use external data or customers' own ML models, and that Copilot can analyze demand plans for shifts, trends, deviations and anomalies and summarize them in natural language. Microsoft's responsible AI FAQ says AI-generated content should not be used without manual review.
