Schulinck AI-Desk
Schulinck AI-Desk is a generative AI assistant inside Wolters Kluwer's Schulinck online knowledge banks for Dutch municipalities. Case workers, quality staff, lawyers and policy staff in the social domain ask legal questions in plain language, with modules for the Jeugdwet (youth care), Wmo (social support), Participatiewet, Inburgering and Schuldhulpverlening. The vendor says it is a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) system that answers from the sources in the knowledge bank (legislation, case law) and the municipality's own policy documents, always says where information comes from with clickable sources, and that Schulinck's lawyers check generated answers and feed back corrections. It is a complement to the knowledge bank and the legal helpdesk, not a replacement. Municipal algorithm-register entries say it takes no decisions, staff review its output and apply it to the case, and no personal data is processed. The vendor says data stays in the shielded knowledge-bank environment and is not shared with third parties.
