Lumi is Greenchoice's customer-facing AI chatbot and self-service environment. At an Erasmus Centre for Data Analytics event in May 2026 Greenchoice presented Lumi as its new chatbot, showing it helping customers with energy subsidies, choosing the right contract, understanding how much energy they feed back to the grid and tracking outstanding payments, with the aim of more personalised interaction. A public Lumi site (lumi.greenchoice.nl) is live with a 'Chat' menu item and a netting-abolition check that, for logged-in customers, calculates the impact from their real consumption and feed-in; the page says the entered data are used only for that calculation and not stored. The sources do not say which platform or language model Lumi runs on or how customers reach a human from the chat; Greenchoice's human WhatsApp and phone channels remain available. Greenchoice's May 2026 privacy statement does not yet mention the chatbot.
