The Medical Guidance Platform (MGP) is Infermedica's symptom-assessment and triage software for patients and healthcare professionals, offered as a web app, mobile app and API that partners build into their own portals, such as GP-practice apps. The patient answers an adaptive interview. The vendor says a Bayesian inference engine over a physician-built medical knowledge base, with a language layer for free text, estimates possible conditions with probabilities and recommends one of five care levels, from calling an ambulance to self-care. Intake and follow-up modules pass medical history to the health record before a consultation. The instructions for use say the platform supports but does not replace professional judgment and must not be used in emergencies. The advice goes straight to the patient; clinicians see the results where the partner platform forwards them. Infermedica does not state where patient data is hosted.
